This moment, standing at the edge of what’s possible with AI, is full of energy and opportunity. And it’s even more inspiring when we imagine what happens when women step into this space together, leading with curiosity, courage, and purpose.

Like many of you, we’ve felt the weight of being women and underrepresented voices in tech and beyond, navigating rooms that didn’t always feel welcoming, being told to catch up instead of invited to lead, and to carrying questions we’re not sure we can ask out loud. Not to mention, we’ve been faced with an (sometimes seemingly overwhelming) opportunity to learn and adopt emerging technology at a rapid pace, on top of the mountain of responsibility we carry in and outside of the workplace. But those experiences are exactly why we created Maiven Collective: a movement where women come together to set the tone, share the wins, adopt AI for success, and shape the future of it on our own terms.

Inside Maiven it’s not about perfection or competition. It’s about progress, momentum, and the strength of community. It’s about celebrating the spark of an idea, the courage to experiment, and the joy of discovering that you’re not doing this alone. Together, we’ll turn uncertainty into confidence, and ambition into real-world impact, driving success in both our personal and professional lives.

Behind the Collective

Say hello to our co-founders, two visionaries on a mission for women to lead the way in AI, rewriting what it means to adopt AI with empathy, creativity, and collective leadership.

Kate Telge

Co-Founder

Kate is a lifelong community builder with a background in tech and a passion for making people feel like they belong. She’s led community strategy and marketing at companies like Meta, Supernatural, and Tonal, where she built digital ecosystems that helped users connect, grow, and thrive.

Maiven Collective was born out of necessity. When Kate went looking for a space to learn about AI and couldn't find one that felt right, she decided to build it herself from the ground up, by women and for women. What started as a scrappy experiment has quickly become a fast-growing collective of curious, creative women across industries who are ready to lead the future, not just keep up with it.

Kate spent four years living in Southeast Asia and now calls Austin home. She also runs a storytelling event series called Open Spaces, is training for her next HYROX race, and dreams of one day opening an animal rescue. When she’s not building community or testing new AI tools, you’ll probably find her trail running with her dogs or deep in a podcast rabbit hole.

Emily Skeen

Co-Founder

With a background in scaling consumer brands, Emily specialized in Amazon marketplace sales and marketing growth strategies for CPG companies. She now serves as a fractional COO, partnering with businesses across industries to integrate AI tools that reduce bottlenecks and improve workflows.

Alongside her work at Maiven, Emily is the Co-founder and COO of Lynx, a sweat-equity marketplace that helps startups use equity as currency to accelerate growth.

At the heart of her work is a passion for making AI approachable, actionable, and exciting so more women can use technology as a genuine advantage in their careers and companies.

Raised in Austin, Texas, Emily has always carried a love for creativity and culture. When she’s not building businesses, you’ll likely find her in the kitchen experimenting with recipes (a passion sparked by growing up on cooking shows), at a concert discovering new music, or traveling the world in search of her next adventure.
